Rosconvert privacy and personal data processing policy.

2. Data that may be processed
Rosconvert does not require users to place personal data in uploaded files. The user determines the file contents and must have a lawful basis to upload and process them.
- Data voluntarily provided in a request: name, email address and message text.
- Technical data: IP address, request date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, referring page address (Referer), User-Agent and other information automatically generated by the web server.
- Cookie settings and consent categories selected by the user.
- Files uploaded by the user solely to perform the selected conversion or processing operation.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Processing is limited to what is necessary for these purposes and is based on the user's actions, consent where applicable, and other grounds permitted by the laws of the Russian Federation.
- Providing the online converter and additional tools.
- Handling user requests and providing replies.
- Maintaining security, preventing abuse and resolving technical errors.
- Analytics only when the user has made the corresponding choice in cookie settings.
4. Uploaded files and retention
Files are transmitted over HTTPS. Working copies of source files and conversion results are placed in temporary service storage and are deleted automatically approximately 10 minutes after a result is created. Download links are also temporary.
- Rosconvert does not use uploaded file contents for advertising profiling.
- Rosconvert does not sell uploaded file contents to third parties.
5. Web server technical logs
For security, error diagnostics, availability monitoring and abuse prevention, the web server automatically keeps technical request logs. They may contain IP address, date and time, URL, HTTP status, Referer and User-Agent.
- Technical logs are retained for up to 14 days and then removed through automatic rotation.
- Access is limited to server administration and the Rosconvert admin area.
- These logs are not used for advertising profiling.
6. Cookies and analytics
Optional analytics must not load before the user makes a choice. Cookie categories can be changed through the cookie settings interface. See the localized Cookie Policy for details.
7. Data transfer and protection
The operator applies organizational and technical measures intended to protect data against unlawful access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Access is provided only to the extent required to operate and support the service.
- When an external email provider is used for correspondence, message processing is also governed by that provider's terms.
8. User rights
A user may request information about the processing of their personal data, ask for correction, blocking or deletion, and withdraw previously given consent where processing is based on consent.

- To protect data, the operator may request information necessary to verify the identity of the applicant.
